Ernst Young (EY)

Ernst & Young is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. We aim to have a positive impact on businesses and markets, as well as on society as a whole.

Working with our clients

Our 130,000 people are the foundation of our success. We assemble the right multi-disciplinary team for your business, drawing on our global network of professionals. Working with you in a collaborative style, we gain a clear understanding of your organization and strive to identify issues before they become problems. You get the people you need, wherever in the world you need them, backed up by leading practices, methodologies and tools.

Developing people

We attract talented people from diverse backgrounds. Our emphasis on inclusiveness matters more than ever today. As business challenges become more complex, we need to call upon the widest spectrum of views and opinions to address them. Our open culture offers continuous personal and professional development. Because when our people grow and succeed, your company benefits.

Strengthening communities

We help to improve regulatory regimes and company reporting models. We promote transparency in financial reporting and use our influence to strengthen global corporate governance. We encourage entrepreneurship, which leads to growth, jobs and prosperous communities. And our people share their business skills and knowledge with others in their communities.

Careers at Ernst Young

Many of our country practices offer high performing students the chance to work at Ernst & Young as interns.

It is a great opportunity for these talented individuals to gain some insights into why Ernst & Young is an organization that can offer them an exciting future and successful career. Very often, interns who spend time with us choose to link their future with ours.

EY also extends valuable international experience to some of our top interns by providing an exciting opportunity to work with our organization in another country on secondment basis. This offers them the chance to experience a new culture, language and work environment for a fixed period of time.

Interns need… To be considered for an international internship, interns should have a minimum of two months' experience with Ernst & Young, with a high performance rating; an offer of, or be under serious consideration for, full-time employment with EY; and appropriate language skills. Ideally, candidates will have worked on multinational clients or global industry initiatives. Applications for both local and international internships are made through our country practices.

International Intern Leadership Conference. In 2003, more than 900 enthusiastic interns from 20 countries gathered in Orlando, Florida, for the seventh annual Ernst & Young International Intern Leadership Conference. The conference was conceived as the annual culmination of our internship program and gives participants the opportunity to meet their peers from around the world.

The conference fosters career growth by building leadership skills, and provides growth and learning experiences through team activities, seminars with EY’s top thought leaders, and observations and advice from members of our global leadership. However, perhaps nothing proved more valuable for the conference attendees than the unique opportunity to get to know their fellow interns and to form relationships that will be valuable throughout their careers.
